We have been collaborating with the Northern California Chapter of IPMA (NCCIPMA) on the various workshops offered by our two chapters. Below is information on an ADA Employee Accommodations workshop being offered by NCCIPMA and Shaw HR Consulting. The registration fee for members is available to Sacramento-Mother Lode members. Rachel Shaw was a presenter at the NCCIPMA annual conference earlier this year and was a very entertaining and knowledgeable speaker. Registration covers all course materials and the networking social immediately following the workshop. Lunch is not covered in the registration fee (lunch break is provided between 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Local eateries are available throughout Jack London Square).

IPMA-CP and IPMA-SCP Recertification Credits
IPMA-HR Certified Professionals (IPMA-CP) and IPMA-HR Senior Certified Professionals (IPMA-SCP) may earn three (3) points of re-certification credits.
SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP Recertification Credits
NCCIPMA-HR is now a SHRM Recertification Provider. This program is valid
for seven (7) PDCs toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification.
Parking
Hourly public parking is available at the Jack London's Waterfront Parking Garage located at 101 Washington St., which is directly across from the Port of Oakland headquarters and Rosenblum Cellars. Limited street parking may also be available. Parking is not included in the registration fee.
Public Transportation
Take Amtrak, the San Francisco-Oakland Ferry, or BART and skip traffic! Jack London Square is within walking distance to all three modes of public transportation. See above for details.
