About our Instructor
Rhonda L. Walton retired from Merced County in 2010 after 31 years of public service. Ms. Walton has over 25 years experience in supervision, management and public administration. She has a Master of Arts degree in Human Development with specializations in Leadership, College Teaching, Administration and Supervision and is an IPMA-Certified Professional.
Ms. Walton has served on the Boards of California Association of Equal Rights Professionals; National Staff Development Trainers Association, California Chapter, California State Area Agencies on Aging; Merced County Youth Council and First 5 Commission; and is the current President Elect for the International Personnel Managers' Association, Central California Chapter.
Ms. Walton has served as an instructor for the University of California, Davis since 2010 in the areas of public administration, project management, personnel management, analysis, and supervision. She is a Certification Trainer for International Personnel Managers' Association and presented an international webcast for IPMA on Ethics in HR Management.
